Guinea coup leaders name civilian prime minister

The leaders of Guinea's coup read a statement on state radio naming a civilian as prime minister.
They named Kabine Komara, a Guinean banker living in Egypt. Komara is a top official at the African Export-Import Bank. When unions demanded Guinea's late dictator name a prime minister of their choice nearly two years ago, Komara was one of three names they proposed.
The junta seized power a week ago and promised to name a civilian premier. The nomination indicates that the leaders are following through on key commitments.
