Protesters have gathered outside the Israeli Embassy in Venezuela to condemn the aerial assault on the Gaza Strip.
Several dozen Arab immigrants and Venezuelans of Arab descent chanted "Fascist, murderous and terrorist Israel!"
They waved Palestinian flags and burned an Israeli flag painted on a large piece of paper. They also burned a plastic sheet covered with small U.S. flags.
Those at Monday's protest included many of Syrian and Lebanese descent who support Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
Chavez has condemned the Israeli aerial assault in Hamas-ruled Gaza as "criminal." More than 300 have been killed in the assault, which Israel launched in retaliation for rocket fire aimed at civilians in Israeli towns.
