Taipei, Dec. 29 (CNA) The U.S. dollar lost ground against the New Taiwan dollar on the Taipei Foreign Exchange Monday, falling NT$0.025 to close at NT$33.000.
A total of US$474 million changed hands during the day's trading.
The U.S. currency opened at NT$33.085 and fluctuated between NT$32.980 and NT$33.090.
