Milosevic scores two as Serbia routs Bulgaria 6-1

Savo Milosevic scored two goals and missed two penalties in his farewell match Wednesday as Serbia routed Bulgaria 6-1 in a friendly.
Milosevic, the Serbian record holder with 102 internationals, missed spot kicks in the fifth and 15th minutes with goalkeeper Georgi Petkov saving his weak attempts.
Milosevic made up for his misses by scoring in the 27th and 34th minutes from close range on two similar crosses from Milos Krasic. Milosevic was then replaced, receiving a standing ovation from about 15,000 Serbian fans as he left the field.
"Everything functioned perfectly tonight for us," Serbia coach Radomir Antic said. "Although this was a friendly match, we showed we have quality."
Forward Milan Jovanovic also found the net twice, giving Serbia a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute with a close-range shot and then making it 2-1 in the 26th after Milosevic's backheel pass.
Blagoy Georgiev had leveled for Bulgaria in the 19th with a spectacular free kick from the edge of the area.
Serbia continued its domination in the second half. Nenad Milijas made it 5-1 in the 56th, slotting the ball under the bar from about 10 meters (yards).
Danko Lazovic finished the scoring with a powerful header on a cross from Krasic in the 66th.
Bulgaria was without Manchester City's Valeri Bojinov and Martin Petrov due to long-term injuries, while Manchester United forward Dimitar Berbatov was replaced in the first half for Bulgaria apparently due to injury.
