The Tennessee Titans rallied for a 31-21 home victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday to record their seventh consecutive win and remain the National Football League's only unbeaten team.
The Titans (7-0) were down 14-6 in the third quarter but scored 25 unanswered points to seal victory and open up a four-game lead in the AFC South over their three divisional rivals, including the Colts (3-4).
"The season is still early, and there's a lot of games left," Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher told reporters. "We're not looking too far ahead.
"As far as the division and all that stuff is concerned, we're just trying to win ballgames right now."
Indianapolis led 7-6 at the half but could not contain the Titans after the break. The Colts are experiencing their worst start to a season since standout quarterback Peyton Manning's rookie year.
"It's going to be tough for us to win the division now, there's no question about that," Colts coach Tony Dungy said. "We can still be a playoff team though.
"I think once you get in the playoffs, anything can happen, as we've seen two of the last three years."
Going back to last season, it was Tennessee's 10th regular season win in a row, matching the club's second-longest winning streak.
The Titans have a two-game lead over Pittsburgh, New England and Buffalo for the best record in the AFC.
