Sweden expands loan to Carnegie to $630 million

Sweden's central bank says it has agreed to expand a loan to troubled investment bank Carnegie to a maximum of 5 billion kronor ($630 million).
The move comes just a day after the Riksbank announced a 1 billion kronor ($126 million) loan to boost Carnegie's liquidity.
The Riksbank insists that Carnegie is solvent and that Tuesday's move to expand the loan is precautionary and meant to reduce the risk of "serious disruptions to the financial system."
