New Zealand 55-3 against Bangladesh

After waiting three days to get the match started, New Zealand lost two wickets in three balls Tuesday to slip to 10 for two before recovering to 55-3 by lunch on the fourth day of the second cricket test against Bangladesh.
Mashrafe bin Murtaza, Mahbubul Alam and Shahadat Hossain claimed a wickets apiece after Bangladesh won the toss and opted to field.
Murtaza struck first when he trapped Aaron Redmond (2) lbw for 2 on the fifth ball of the third over. Alam bowled Jamie How (8) on the first ball of the next over.
Shahadt Hossain then removed Ross Taylor for 19 as New Zealand stumbled to 39-3.
Jesse Ryder (18) and Brendon McCullum (1) remained unbeaten at lunch.
The first three days were washed out but there was no sign of rain on day four, allowing for a start with only two scheduled days remaining and with New Zealand leading the two-match series 1-0.
Bangladesh selected Alam to replace Nayeem Islam while New Zealand drafted in South Africa-born Grant Elliot to replace all-rounder Jacob Oram, who was ruled out because of back problems.
A tropical depression has dumped rain on Bangladesh since Friday but the wet weather had eased by Tuesday morning.
