Tourist: Entrepreneurs need access to space center

U.S. space tourist Richard Garriott says NASA, the Russian space agency and other officials need to give private entrepreneurs broader access to the international space station.
Garriott spoke to reporters Monday three days after returning to earth after a 12-day journey into outer space. Garriott, a computer games designer, paid US$30 million for the trip to the international space station.
Russian spacecraft will be the only way to get people and cargo to the orbiting station after the U.S. space shuttle fleet is retired in 2010.
Some U.S. officials and politicians, including Republican presidential hopeful John McCain, have expressed concern that the United States will have to rely on the Russians.
