England reaches 121 vs. Middlesex in Super Series

Owais Shah top-scored with 39 not out Sunday as England labored to a paltry 121 for four wickets in the Stanford 20/20 Super Series match against Middlesex.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, England struggled to score runs against Middlesex's varied bowling attack led by captain Shaun Udal. The offspinner bowled tightly to finish with 0-14 from his four overs.
Middlesex dropped four catches as scores of 29 for Matt Prior and 23 for Ian Bell gave the national team some hope of victory.
Left-arm spinner Murali Kartik had England captain Kevin Pietersen stumped for 5 and bowled Prior to take 2-27.
Bell, who was dropped at slip in the second over, and Prior put on 43 for the first wicket in eight overs before Bell was run out.
Shah survived two dropped catches, while Flintoff watched England test teammate Andrew Strauss drop a sitter at mid-on. He then hammered a couple of sixes off Tim Murtagh before being caught on the long-off boundary off left-arm seamer Neil Carter.
