Tuqiri cleared for Wallabies tour

Wallabies winger Lote Tuqiri was cleared Sunday for Australia's rugby union tour to Hong Kong and Europe.
Tuqiri and No.8 Wycliff Palu, both recovering from knee injuries, will leave Monday with Australia's 34-man squad, coach Robbie Deans said, but neither was likely to play in next Saturday's Bledisloe Cup match against New Zealand in Hong Kong.
Tuqiri resumed running a week ago in the wake of a knee operation and Palu only started running again with the squad on Sunday.
"Lote is a wee way away from playing and we will just have to keep monitoring him," Deans said. "He's got a fair amount to do and if in doing that work he suffers a setback, then essentially we will send him home."
After the Bledisloe Cup match _ the first between the Wallabies and All Blacks on neutral ground outside of a World Cup _ Australia will play test matches against Italy, England, France and Wales on consecutive weekends before finishing the tour against the Barbarians.
