PSG considers move for Ronaldo

Paris Saint-Germain has contacted Ronaldo's agent to express interest in signing the injury-hit striker.
Ronaldo has not played since February but the 32-year-old Brazilian is confident he can get his fitness back. PSG, Manchester City and AS Roma have all been linked to the three-time FIFA player of the year, who is without a club.
Alain Roche, a former PSG defender who is now the French club's chief scout, has flown out to Brazil and a newspaper report said Ronaldo is among his targets.
"That could be part of Alain Roche's mission," PSG president Charles Villeneuve was quoted as saying by sports daily L'Equipe on Saturday.
Ronaldo's agent Fabiano Farah confirmed that PSG had contacted him.
"I have spoken with PSG's representatives. They called me, we spoke about certain things," Farah said. "It's a challenge that could be up to Ronaldo's standards. But before deciding anything, (Ronaldo) must recover 100 percent."
Ronaldo, who scored eight goals to lead Brazil to victory at the 2002 World Cup, has been training with Brazilian club Flamengo to regain fitness.
It was while playing for AC Milan that Ronaldo ruptured a tendon in his left knee in a Serie A match in February. He has been without a club since his contract with Milan expired in June.
The former FC Barcelona forward has battled knee injuries for many years. He played only 17 league games for Inter Milan over three seasons as a serious knee injury threatened to end his career.
He overcame that and went on to score 82 league goals in 127 league games for Real Madrid.
