Lokomotiv Sofia's Pavlov fails doping test

Lokomotiv Sofia midfielder Nikolai Pavlov tested positive for an unidentified substance.
Lokomotiv spokesman Kiril Petrov said Wednesday that Pavlov's "A" sample from an after-competition doping test in August tested positive for a banned substance.
The sample was taken after a UEFA Cup qualifier against Serbian team Borac Cacak on Aug. 14. Borac Cacak advanced 2-1 on aggregate.
The second sample will be opened on Oct. 9, Lokomotiv said. If it is also positive, the 20-year-old player could receive a two-year ban.
