Honduran official resigns to protest Ortega visit

A Honduran Cabinet minister is quitting to protest the upcoming visit of Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega.
Family Minister Selma Ucles says she opposes Ortega's visit because of allegations he sexually abused his stepdaughter.
Ucles says President Manuel Zelaya shrugged off her objections.
Ortega's stepdaughter Zoilamerica Narvaez says he molested her for years, starting when she was 13. Ortega and his wife both deny the allegations and say Narvaez is mentally unstable.
Zelaya's adviser Marco Antonio Rosa points out that Ortega has never been convicted on any of the allegations. Nicaragua's supreme court ruled in 2003 that the statute of limitations expired before Narvaez filed her complaint.
