George Hincapie wins second stage of Dauphine Libere, Hushovd keeps overall lead

High Road rider George Hincapie won Tuesday's second stage of the Dauphine Libere, grabbing victory in a sprint.
The American finished the 184-kilometer (114.3-mile) stage in 4 hours, 32 minutes, 38 seconds.
Sebastien Chavanel was second and Gerolsteiner's Sebastian Lang came third after attacking less than a kilometer from the finish line.
Norway's Thor Hushovd retained the overall lead despite a fifth-place finish.
The third stage of the Dauphine Libere, widely seen as a warm-up for the Tour de France, is a 31-kilometer (19.3-mile) time trial Wednesday.
