Kaka's wife gives birth to couple's first child _ a boy

The wife of AC Milan playmaker Kaka gave birth to the couple's first child Tuesday, a boy, Sao Paulo's Albert Einstein hospital said.
Caroline Celico Leite gave birth to Luca at 1:05 a.m.(0405 GMT), the hospital said in a statement, adding the baby weighed 3.6 kilograms (7.9 pounds) and that "mother and child are fine."
Luca was born less than a month after his father had arthroscopic knee surgery in Rio de Janeiro on May 23.
Because of the surgery and the time it will take for Kaka to recover, Brazil manager Dunga dropped him from his squad for two upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Dunga said that Kaka could not join the team until June 10, meaning he would not have enough time to train with the squad before Brazil's match against Paraguay on June 15 and Argentina on June 18.
Dunga's decision to scratch the midfielder from his team's roster, fueled press speculation of a friction-filled relationship between the two.
Local media said Dunga was annoyed with the timing of Kaka's surgery.
In an attempt to downplay that speculation, Dunga on Monday told the Sport TV network that the press had misinterpreted some of his comments and that Kaka would return to the team as soon as he is fully recovered.
He said that at best Kaka would be able to play against Argentina, "but we thought it would be better to give him more time to fully recover."
"Imagine our responsibility if we had him play against Argentina and suddenly he suffers an accident, an injury," Dunga said. "It would be very disagreeable."
