Jordan Muslim activists file lawsuit to protest Dutch legislator, maker of anti-Quran film

A Jordanian Muslim group has filed a lawsuit in a protest gesture against a Dutch lawmaker for his anti-Quran film portraying Islam as a ticking bomb against Western democracy.
The group, named Rassoul Allah Yajmana _ or "The messenger of God unites us" in Arabic _ said it filed the suit Tuesday against Dutch politician Geert Wilders for his 15-minute film entitled "Fitna," Arabic for "ordeal."
The film, posted on the Internet earlier this year, sparked fury among Muslims worldwide.
The Jordanian group also filed another lawsuit last week against 17 Danish newspapers for reprinting Prophet cartoons earlier this year. The group includes Islamist, moderate and independent figures. It was formed in February to campaign against whoever insults Islam's Prophet Muhammad.
