Brazilian soccer: Flamengo cruises to win, shares league lead with Cruzeiro

Marcinho scored a hat trick and Flamengo moved to the top of the Brazilian league standings with a 5-0 rout of Figueirense on Sunday.
Cruzeiro took its time in finding the net at home against Vasco, waiting until the 71st minute to take the lead on a right-footer from striker Charles.
The win gave Cruzeiro 13 points in the Brazilian league standings, now in its fifth round.
Flamengo also has 13 points, but passes Cruzeiro on goal differentials.
In other Sunday matches Gremio beat Fluminense 2-1 at home in Porto Alegre, with the Colombian striker Perea scoring both goals.
While Fluminense will play in the finals of the Copa Libertadores at the end of this month, the team played Sunday's match with its starters in an attempt to pull the club out of last place in league standings.
Perea scored his first goal in the 23rd, putting a header hard off the hands of the goal keeper then kicking the rebound into the net. He scored again in the 55th.
Fluminense tied it up in the 77th on a penalty kick taken by Dodo.
