Douglas scores 20 points to lead Fever past Comets

Katie Douglas scored 20 points and Tammy Sutton-Brown added 19 as the Indiana Fever beat the Houston Comets 84-75 on Saturday night.
Tan White scored 15 points and Sherill Baker added 10 for Indiana (4-2).
Tina Thompson led Houston with 19 points on 7-for-12 shooting. Michelle Snow, Tamecka Dixon and Erica White each scored 10 points for the Comets (1-7).
Douglas shot just 6-for-17, but she made three 3-pointers and 5 of 6 free-throw attempts.
The Fever continued to play well while awaiting forward Tamika Catchings' return. The five-time All-Star has not played this season while recovering from a torn right Achilles' tendon in last year's playoffs.

CHICAGO (AP) _ Candice Dupree scored 20 points, Jia Perkins had 19 and Chicago cruised past winless Atlanta.
Chasity Melvin had 12 points and seven rebounds, and Cathy Joens scored 10 points to help the Sky (3-4) set a franchise record for a margin of victory.
Jennifer Lacy had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Atlanta (0-7), Betty Lennox had 17 and Ivory Latta 13.
Chicago shot 54 percent (30-for-56) from the field and outrebounded Atlanta 35-24. Dupree, who also had six rebounds, shot 6-for-11 from the field and 8-for-10 from the free-throw line, and Perkins was 8-for-12 from the floor.
