Police detain two Switzerland fans at Euro 2008 public viewing zone in Zurich

Police pulled two Switzerland fans out of the crowd at a large-screen public viewing of the team's European Championship opener against the Czech Republic and detained them.
Police spokesman Marco Cortesi said one of the men had been seen punching another spectator in the face.
Shortly before, there had been a clash between a few Swiss and Czech fans, but the situation quickly calmed down.
About two dozen police officers in riot gear created a corridor through the thousands of fans on a meadow near Lake Zurich so that the two could be led away to a police vehicle.
