South Africa defeats Equatorial Guinea 4-1 behind 2 goals from Dikgacoi

Kagisho Dikgacoi scored twice to lead South Africa to a 4-1 win over Equatorial Guinea on Saturday in a World Cup and African Cup of Nations qualifier.
Dikgacoi gave the hosts the lead in the 10th minute with a 25-meter (yard) shot that was deflected into the net. The South Africans kept attacking, and Surprise Moriri doubled the lead in the 34th by heading in a cross from Teko Modise.
Thembinkosi Fanteni added a third in the 60th before Juvenal Edjogo pulled one back for Equatorial Guinea with a penalty in the 76th.
Dikgacoi then headed in his second goal in injury time to give new coach Joel Santana his first win, after a 2-0 loss to Nigeria last weekend.
South Africa is automatically qualified as host of the 2010 World Cup, but the qualifying round also decides which teams qualify for the African Cup of Nations that same year.
