Plymouth goalkeeper Luke McCormick arrested over car crash killing 2 boys

Plymouth Argyle goalkeeper Luke McCormick was arrested Saturday in connection with a highway crash that killed two young boys.
McCormick's Range Rover hit a Toyota Previa that was carrying the children, aged 8 and 10. The boys' 37-year-old father was in serious but stable condition.
Three other people in the car were unharmed.
Staffordshire Police said it is holding a man on suspicion of dangerous driving and Plymouth, which plays in the second-tier League Championship, confirmed that one of its players had been arrested.
The 24-year-old McCormick wasn't officially named as is customary in Britain before charges are brought against a suspect, but he was identified to The Associated Press by a police official speaking on condition of anonymity.
Police said the man arrested wasn't hurt.
The crash happened shortly before 5:45 a.m. (0445GMT) Saturday on the M6 highway in north Staffordshire in central England.
