Arjen Robben to miss Italy match because of groin injury

Netherlands winger Arjen Robben will miss his team's opening European Championship match against Italy after picking up a groin injury Saturday in training.
"This is a heavy blow," Netherlands coach Marco van Basten said. "Especially because we already lost Ryan Babel."
The Dutch team will also play World Cup finalist France and Romania in Group C, which looks to be the toughest of the tournament.
"Together with the medical staff, Arjen will work on his recovery and we hope he will be of value to the team soon," Van Basten said.
