Arsene Wenger: Emmanuel Adebayor staying at Arsenal and not going to AC Milan

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has no intention of letting go of Emmanuel Adebayor.
The 24-year-old forward from Togo had 24 goals in the English Premier League last season, second to Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo.
"If AC Milan is interested in Adebayor, Adebayor is under a firm contract that he extended last year. They just (have to) call me and they will get the answer they deserve," Wenger said at a news conference on Friday.
Wenger also insisted Cesc Fabregas, Arsenal's 21-year-old Spain midfielder, will remain with the north London club for 2008-09.
"There's no doubt in my mind," he said.
Wenger wouldn't speculate on whether Manchester United would keep Ronaldo, who said he would like at some point to play for Real Madrid.
"That depends on Manchester United wanting to sell him or not, because he is under contract," Wenger said. "I personally know and feel that in the modern game, it is good that every player can go everywhere and play with the best, but I think as well the players have the responsibility for our game _ to be successful in a a club you need stability."
Speaking at a news conference to announce Castrol's Euro fantasy team, Wenger indicated he wants to spend to improve his roster following a third-place finish in the Premier League behind United and Chelsea.
"Any player, I'm here with my checkbook," he said. "So, I don't rule anything out. If I fall in love with somebody, why not?"
Still, he doesn't expect to come away with any previously unknown talents.
"The speed of information is so quick now," he said. "In the modern game, you don't discover players or new systems anymore, like it was 30 years ago, because everybody knows everybody, and it's very (difficult) to get to a tournament and suddenly find somebody that nobody has ever seen before."
