Austrian golfer Martin Wiegele shared the lead with five other players at 7-under 64 after the rain-delayed opening round of the Bank Austria Open on Friday.
Wiegele was joined atop the leaderboard by Australia's Scott Barr, Swedes Pelle Edberg and Christian Nilsson, Ireland's Gary Murphy and India's Jeev Milkha Singh.
Wiegele thrilled the local fans when he eagled the par-5 15th to have the lead to himself at 9-under but he finished with two straight bogeys.
"Until then, it was a dream round," he said. "A shame that my finish wasn't perfect."
Paul Lawrie shot 68, Michael Campbell shot 69, and Darren Clark 70.
Last year's winner Richard Green finished on par.
After rain washed out play on Thursday, the tournament was reduced to 54 holes. However, heavy rain was forecast for the weekend.
