Weather forecast for the Asia-Pacific region

Japan will experience drier weather Tuesday as a strong storm pulls away from the coast of Honshu and moves into the northern Pacific. As the storm intensifies, Hokkaido could be hit with snow showers, which will linger also across the interior, mostly in the mountains.
China will see wet weather in the southeastern portion of the country and off the coast in Taiwan. Some rain and snow will also be found to the north and east of Beijing.
Rain is also likely in Taipei, which will see temperatures rise slightly.
Southeast Asia will continue to see wet weather on Tuesday with precipitation expected to spread throughout the entire region and down the Malay Peninsula into Indonesia.
Southern India will also experience showers, while the rest of the country will stay dry.
Australia's northern coastline will be hit by rain, especially around the Gulf of Carpenteria and along the western side of the country. Low pressure will move into the southwestern portion of the country, and bring some heavy precipitation to the region.
