New chairman nominated for Swedish utility Vattenfall

The Swedish government on Wednesday said Lars Westerberg was nominated chairman for the state-owned utility Vattenfall AB.
The government said he will be elected at the company's annual general meeting on April 29, replacing Dag Klackenberg who has declined re-election after serving seven years on the post.
Westerberg currently chairs auto safety system maker Autoliv Inc. as well as outdoor equipment company Husqvarna AB. He is also a board member of steel firm SSAB Svenskt Stal AB and as well as bus and truck maker AB Volvo.
Vattenfall is owned by the Swedish government and is Europe's fourth-largest electricity producer employing about 32,000 staff with five million customers.
