Cisse worried that lack of goals could cost him place in France's Euro 2008 squad

Djibril Cisse is worried he will not make France's squad for the European Championship because he's not scoring enough goals.
Cisse missed an open goal from five meters (yards) in last week's 0-0 draw against Toulouse, and said that sort of error will hinder his chances of making the French squad for the June 7-29 tournament in Austria and Switzerland.
"By missing chances like that, yes certainly (I am worried)," Cisse told sports daily L'Equipe's Web site Thursday. "I feel the deadline is approaching and it is difficult.
"I really think that a player of standard quality would have put that one away," added Cisse, who has not played for France since June 2007. "I should not miss chances like that."
The 26-year-old forward missed the 2006 World Cup after breaking his leg on the eve of the team's departure for Germany.
He has struggled to regain his sharpness since overcoming the break, the second of his career, and lost his place in the Marseille team earlier this season.
Cisse has scored 17 league goals in 45 matches since joining from Liverpool prior to the 2006-07 season, but has not scored in four games.
Karim Benzema and Nicolas Anelka are also options up front for France.
