Hong Kong may host match between Six Nations, Tri-Nations champs

Hong Kong wants to host a one-off match between rugby's Six Nations and Tri-Nations champions _ the top teams in the northern and southern hemispheres.
The proposal for the annual match will be discussed Sunday when world rugby officials meet in Hong Kong, the South China Morning Post newspaper reported.
"We believe Hong Kong would be an excellent venue for such a game," the paper quoted Allan Payne, executive director of the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union, as saying.
"Part of our strategic plan is to look at hosting international matches, and it would be a tremendous honor if we were asked to host this match," added Payne, the paper reported.
Sunday's meeting will be attended by Bernard Lapasset, the new International Rugby Board chairman, and his deputy, Bill Beaumont.
