Schalk Burger banned for 2 matches after 'unsportsmanlike behavior'

Springbok and Stormers flanker Schalk Burger was suspended for two weeks Tuesday after being found guilty of unsporting behavior during a Super 14 match.
Burger was cleared on a separate charge of referee abuse after the same incident that arose after he was yellow-carded for involving himself in an off-the-ball scuffle between Sharks skipper Johann Muller and Stormers prop Brian Mujati in last Saturdays 10-12 defeat to the Sharks.
Referee's assistant Willie Roos of South Africa recommended a yellow card for Burger's interference to referee Kelvin Deaker of New Zealand.
Burger was angered by Roos' intervention and unleashed a series of hand gestures and shouts at Roos showing his displeasure at the decision. He was cited for the outburst.
Burger will miss the clash against the table-topping Canterbury Crusaders from New Zealand on Friday and the game against the Queensland Reds when the Stormers travel on their Australia and New Zealand tour next week.
