Weather forecast for the Asia-Pacific region

Low pressure will steamroll northward off the coast of Japan on Wednesday leaving clear conditions across the nation. Rain and snow will fall in some areas, however.
The heaviest precipitation will hit the coastline of the Sea of Japan with snow at higher elevations. High temperatures in Tokyo will rise into the low 10s Celsius.
Over eastern Asia, clear skies are expected as high pressure builds over the southeastern coast. China will stay mostly dry but close to Southeast Asia showers and thunderstorms will occur throughout the day.
High temperatures in Beijing will soar into the low 10sC, while Shanghai will feel another chilly day with temperatures above 0sC.
South of the Equator, Australia will continue to see wet weather along the northern coast and down the northeast coast to around Brisbane. South of the city, showers and thunderstorms are anticipated as a storm south of Australia sends a cold front north.
New Zealand will also see some wet weather as the low approaches the South Island, but North Island will remain largely dry.
