Super 14: Burger, Potgieter found guilty, Nel let off after judicial hearings

South Africa and Stormers flanker Schalk Burger was found guilty by a SANZAR judiciary on Monday of bad sportsmanship against a touch judge in a weekend Super 14 match.
The sentence will be announced on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, at a different hearing, Bulls No. 8 Dewald Potgieter was found guilty of a spear tackle and suspended for one week, while teammate and center JP Nel was found not guilty of a dangerous tackle
Burger acted "contrary to good sportsmanship" when he mocked tough judge Willie Roos' eyesight by forming his hands to appear like glasses.
Burger was late to a fracas in the Stormers-Sharks match at Durban on Saturday and reported by Roos to referee Kelvin Deaker, who yellow-carded the former world player of the year. Burger gestured at Roos as he walked off the field.
Potgieter, a substitute, was only warned and penalized for his spear tackle during the Bulls' loss to the Canterbury Crusaders last Friday, and was cited after the game. He will miss playing a home game against the Sharks on Saturday in a rematch of last year's final.
Nel was cited for a swinging arm tackle.
