Anaheim's Teemu Selanne named NHL player of week

Anaheim Ducks winger Teemu Selanne was named NHL player of the week on Monday.
Selanne racked seven points from five goals and two assists in helping Anaheim win all three of its games last week. Since the 15-year veteran returned to the team three weeks ago after contemplating retirement, the Ducks have gone 9-0-1.
Last week, the Finn's 20th career hat trick, in a win against Chicago, increased his NHL goals tally to 546 and moved him past Maurice Richard to 25th on the all-time list. He also surpassed 600 career assists.
