Fiorentina forward Adrian Mutu will be out for around four weeks after twisting his left knee in Sunday's 1-0 loss to AS Roma.
Fiorentina said on its Web site Monday that Mutu had injured a ligament.
The Romanian, who is Fiorentina's leading scorer with 14 goals this season, was hurt in a first-half tackle by Roma goalkeeper Alexander Doni after wasting a one-on-one opportunity.
