Bulgaria coach names squad for friendly against Northern Ireland next month

Bulgaria coach Plamen Markov dropped three Levski Sofia players for his team's friendly at Northern Ireland next month.
Markov dumped Elin Topuzakov, Dimitar Telkiyski and Hristo Yovov from his 18-man squad Tuesday to play in Belfast on Feb. 6 after Levski's poor showing last season.
Markov, who was reappointed Bulgaria coach earlier this month, called up CSKA Sofia midfielder Todor Yanchev, Litex Lovech defender Mihail Venkov and Energie Cottbus striker Dimitar Rangelov.
