PSV Eindhoven beats NAC Brada 2-0 to go top of Dutch league

Defending champion PSV Eindhoven returned to the top of the Dutch league Sunday by beating NAC Breda 2-0.
Kenneth Perez set up Danny Koevermans for PSV's opening goal in the 45th. Perez scored the second goal in the 90th in interim coach Jan Wouters' last game in charge of PSV.
Sef Vergoosen will lead PSV in the second half of the season before Hamburger SV coach Huub Stevens takes over on a two-year contract at the end of the season. Wouters will be assistant to both coaches.
Feyenoord dropped to second on goal difference after Gerald Sibon leveled in the 88th in the Rotterdam side's 1-1 draw at SC Heerenveen. Andwele Slory gave Feyenoord the lead after 17 minutes.
PSV and Feyenoord have 36 points each. Ajax is third with 33 points ahead of a two-week winter break.
Ajax drew 2-2 at VVV Venlo after taking the lead when Luis Suarez scored with a close-range effort off a pass from Gabri in the 37th. VVV equalized with Rachid Ofrany's 45-yard lob in the 57th.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's 77th minute free kick restored Ajax's lead but substitute Sandro Colabro leveled, heading Mike Mampuya's cross in the 88th as VVV extend its unbeaten run to five games. Ajax, which had right back George Ogararu ejected in the 88th for his second yellow card, won only one game in December _ beating Willem II 3-2.
Stein Huysegems and Blaise N'Kufo scored two first-half goals to lead FC Twente past De Graafschap 2-0.
Gretar Steinsson scored the only goal in 10-man AZ Alkmaar's 1-0 win over Heracles Almelo. Substitute Julian Jenner was sent off for a foul in the 65th minute on Mark Looms.
Also Sunday, it was: Vitesse Arnhem 2, FC Utrecht 2; Willem II 3, NEC Nijmegen 0; and Excelsior Rotterdam 1, Roda JC 2.
On Saturday, FC Groningen beat Sparta Rotterdam 3-1.
