A storm brewing in the East China Sea will bring rain over the Korean peninsula Friday as it moves northeast into the Sea of Japan.
The system will likely push northwards, spreading precipitation from Kyushu to Honshu.
Temperatures in northern China and the Korean peninsula will be cold due to cold air sweeping in behind the storm.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop in the South China Sea and in the Philippines.
Temperatures in Tokyo are expected to be in the mid-50s(F)/lower 10s(C), while Shanghai will see temperatures in the lower 50s(F)/lower 10s(C). Seoul should experience temperatures in the lower 40s(F).
A tropical low pressure system will spin southeast just off Australia's Queensland coast, bringing rain to region.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in the Gulf of Carpentaria region, while Western Australia is likely to be very hot.
Temperatures in Sydney are expected to be in the lower 80s(F)/upper 20s(C), while Melbourne will see temperatures in the lower 90s(F)/mid-30s(C).
