Kauto Star won his second straight King George VI Chase title on Wednesday, beating second-place Our Vic by 11 lengths.
Kauto Star, the 6-4 favorite ridden by Ruby Walsh and trained by Paul Nicholls, dominated the 4.8-kilometer (3-mile) jump race and easily held off the challengers on the final stretch. Exotic Dancer, last year's runner-up, finished third.
"It was a bit special," Walsh said. "He's a fabulous horse. There wouldn't a better horse of my generation."
Walsh was racing for just the second time after recovering from a dislocated shoulder in mid-November.
