Indian shares up on buying of metal shares

Indian stocks ended higher for the third straight session Wednesday, tracking strong regional markets and helped by buying in metal shares and index heavyweight Reliance Industries.
The Bombay Stock Exchange's 30-share Sensex index rose 338 points, or 1.7 percent, to 20192 points.
On the broader National Stock Exchange, the 50-company S&P Nifty index rose 1.4 percent to 6070 points.
Reliance Industries was one of the top gainers, rising 3.9 percent to 2,896 rupees expectations it will post strong third-quarter results.
Metals shares also rose on expectations of a price rise.
Hindalco led, closing up 4.2 percent to 209 rupees, followed by Tata Steel, up 3.5 percent to 892 rupees.
