Serbia coach Javier Clemente has been hospitalized after he punctured his lung and broke four ribs in a fall.
Clemente slipped as he carried a bicycle into his garage at his home in the Basque town of Zarautz, near Bilbao, news agency Europa Press said on Friday.
"If everything goes well, I'll go home on Sunday. If not, I'll have to stay two days longer in the hospital," Clemente told news agency Efe.
On Monday, the 57-year-old coach was due to travel to Belgrade to prepare for Serbia's European Championship qualifying games against Finland and Portugal. His injured lung means he will be forced to travel by car, rather than by plane.
Clemente, who led Spain for six years until 1998, took charge of Serbia on a two-year contract in July 2006.
