Lufthansa's CityLine reports 20 flights canceled, 60 delayed because of pilot walkout

German airline Lufthansa AG said Friday it canceled 20 flights at its CityLine unit after a pilot union staged a two-hour walkout.
The walkout by the Cockpit union began at 6:30 a.m. (0430GMT) and lasted until 8:30 a.m. (0630 GMT), affecting flights from Germany, with 60 of them delayed, the Bonn-based airline said.
CityLine is the company's regional airline, carries about 6.7 million passengers a year and flies to 60 destinations across Europe. The union said it staged the walkout after it failed to reach an agreement with Lufthansa about working conditions, including long flight duties and days off for its pilots.
Flights were resuming after 8:30 a.m. (0630GMT), and it was not immediately clear how many passengers had been affected by the delays.
