Brazil's Internacional signs Colombian defender Orozco

Brazil's Internacional said Thursday it reached a deal to sign Colombian defender Andres Orozco.
The 28-year-old back was acquired from Independiente Medellin of Colombia.
He will replace Marcao, who on Wednesday was suspended for 120 days for failing a doping test in a Brazilian league match last month, Internacional said.
Contract details were not immediately released.
Orozco previously played for Argentina's Racing, Mexico's Morelia and the Colombian national team, which he helped win the 2001 Copa America.
"He is a good player and is able to play in several positions," Internacional coach Abel Braga told the UOL Web site.
Internacional, a three-time national champion and last year's world club champion, is 10th in the 20-team Brazilian league standings with 31 points from 22 matches. It lost 4-1 to Fluminense Wednesday night at Beira-Rio stadium in Porto Alegre.
