Inter's market director says Adriano will stay

It looks like Adriano will stay with Inter Milan.
Inter had floated the idea of putting the Brazil striker out on loan but Adriano opposed the idea _ he either wants to stay or leave on a full transfer.
"There have been several requests for the player, but in the end I think he'll stay with us," Inter market director Gabriele Oriali said Thursday.
Adriano has scored 43 goals in 99 appearances for Inter but struggled last season. He scored only five times in 23 games, and was criticized for his social life and for being overweight.
The current transfer period ends Friday.
"I don't think there will be anything new for our market. We can consider it closed now," Oriali told Italy's Sky TV from the Champions League draw in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
That means another striker rumored to be leaving Inter, Alvaro Recoba, will also apparently remain.
