Berbatov back in Bulgaria squad for Euro 2008 qualifiers against the Netherlands, Luxembourg

Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov returned to the Bulgaria squad Thursday for European Championship qualifiers against the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Berbatov, who has scored 28 goals in 47 internationals, missed the friendly match against Wales on Aug. 22 due to a groin injury. Wales won 1-0.
Bulgaria plays in the Netherlands on Sept. 8 and hosts Luxembourg on Sept. 12.
Bulgaria coach Dimitar Penev chose Amkar Perm forward Martin Kushev to replace Manchester City striker Valeri Bojinov, who has a knee injury. Midfielder Georgi Peev, a teammate of Kushev, was also in the 20-man squad.
Litex Lovech defender Plamen Nikolov received his international call-up.
Bulgaria is second in Group G with 15 points, two behind Romania. The Netherlands is third with 14 points, while Luxembourg has lost all seven matches.
