Sinkewitz wins Henninger race

Patrik Sinkewitz of Germany broke away in the last of the final three laps to win the Round the Henninger Tower cycling race Tuesday.
The 190-kilometer race starts and ends in Frankfurt, with the three final laps raced around the former brewery landmark that gave the race its name.
Sinkewitz covered the course that takes the cyclists through the leafy, hilly Frankfurt suburbs in four hours, 46 minutes, 54 seconds.
"This is my home race, I always wanted to win here once," said the T-Mobile rider, who comes from near Frankfurt.
Kurt-Asle Arvesen of Norway was second, four seconds behind the winner, and Dario Cataldo of Italy finished third, five seconds back.
The three broke away from a nine-rider leader group nine kilometers before the finish.
The traditional May 1 race was in its 46th edition.
