Surrey scores 496 for limited-overs world record

Surrey scored 496 for four wickets Sunday to break the world record in a limited-overs match.
During its 50 overs, Surrey hit 22 sixes and 47 fours.
Openers Alistair Brown and James Benning scored centuries to lead Surrey to a 257-run victory over Gloucestershire in the Friends Provident Trophy at The Oval.
Their opening stand of 294 was also a county record.
Sri Lanka set the previous mark of 443-9 against the Netherlands in 2006.
