Bordeaux beats rival Lens 1-0

Bordeaux beat Lens 1-0 Sunday to overtake its rival for second place in the French league.
Brazilian forward Jussie scored against his former club by shooting into the corner of the net in the 13th. It was Bordeaux's third straight win.
Bordeaux is second with 55 points from 34 rounds, two points ahead of third-place Lens. Lyon is first with 74 points and has already sealed a French record sixth straight title.
The top two teams get an automatic spot in next season's Champions League, while the third-place side has to go through qualifying rounds.
Bordeaux lost David Jemmali after the Tunisia defender was sent off in the 38th for a challenge on Lens forward Aruna Dindane, but Bordeaux was rarely threatened after the interval.
Later Sunday, Marseille hosted Sochaux.
