Milan beats Torino 1-0 to move into third place in Serie A

AC Milan warmed up for the second leg of the Champions League semifinals with a 1-0 win at Torino in Serie A on Saturday.
Clarence Seedorf scored with a long, rising shot in the 26th minute to move Milan ahead of Lazio into third place.
Torino was reduced to 10 men in the 73rd when defender Oscar Brevi was shown his second yellow card for a foul on Ronaldo.
On Wednesday, Milan hosts Manchester United in the Champions League. United won the opening leg 3-2 on Tuesday.
Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti rested Kaka and Filippo Inzaghi, who are expected to lead the Rossoneri attack against Manchester.
Milan, which began the season with an eight-point penalty from the Italian match-fixing scandal, has 59 points. Lazio, which meets AS Roma in the Roman derby Sunday, has 57 points.
With 33 points, Torino is only two points clear of the relegation zone.
Later Saturday, Fiorentina hosted Chievo Verona without suspended striker Luca Toni.
On Sunday, Inter Milan, which clinched the Serie A title last weekend, plays Empoli.
