PSG secures 3-1 win at Toulouse to move closer to safety

Paris Saint-Germain won 3-1 at Toulouse to extend its unbeaten run to five matches and move away from the relegation zone in the French league on Saturday.
Peguy Luyindula, Edouard Cisse and Jerome Rothen scored for PSG after Fode Mansare had given Toulouse an eighth-minute lead by weaving past several defenders before slotting the ball in.
Luyindula leveled for PSG in the 32nd, Cisse drove home powerfully from the edge of the area in the 44th, and Rothen added a goal in injury time.
Toulouse remains on 52 points, while PSG moved up to 41 points.
PSG team has secured 13 points _ four wins and a draw _ from its last five matches.
"We're not there (safe) yet _ almost," Rothen told Canal Plus television. "This victory does us a lot of good. We won't stop now. We are in great form and we want to continue. The spirit that is in our group is starting to bear fruit."
Later Saturday, it is: Lille vs. Nancy; Lyon vs. Le Mans; Troyes vs. Sedan; Nice vs. Auxerre; Nantes vs. Rennes; Valenciennes vs. Monaco and Lorient vs. Saint-Etienne.
On Sunday, Bordeaux hosts Lens and Marseille faces Sochaux.
French champion Lyon sealed its sixth straight title last weekend.
