Super 14: Stormers defeat Reds 37-24

The Stormers scored five tries to two by the Queensland Reds Saturday to win 37-24 in the Super 14.
Stormers captain Luke Watson scored two tries in the first half and Springbok utility back Brent Russell got two after the break at the Newlands Stadium.
Joe van Niekerk, who finished a whole match for the first time in nearly two years, also scored a try.
Center Ben Tune and Sean Hardman scored second-half tries for the Reds.
The Stormers took advantage of some poor defending round the rucks and scrums to score their first two tries through Watson.
For his first, Watson broke free from a maul following a lineout five meters from the Reds line. He took an inside pass from scrumhalf J.P. Joubert and touched down unchallenged.
His second came from a scrum as the Stormers exploited the absence of a backrower with Reds prop David Te Moana in the sin bin. Watson was able to take another inside pass and easily go over.
The Reds stayed in the match with four penalties by fullback Clinton Schifcofske making it 20-12 at halftime.
Russell's first try came from a turnover on the Stormers' line. Van Niekerk ran the ball out of danger, and Russell and De Wet Barry exchanged passes before Russell finished the move off.
His second came straight after Tune had scored, charging down an attempted clearance by Andrew Walker from the restart.
The loss left the Reds rooted at the bottom of the table.
