Asian Champions League: Al Hilal beats Pakhtakor 2-0 to move to brink of quarters

Brazilian Rodrigo Afleh scored a goal in each half to give Al Hilal a 2-0 victory over Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan and move the Saudi club to the brink of the Asian Champions League quarterfinals.
Rodrigo's header in the 30th minute and penalty in the 90th delighted the crowd of 50,000 at King Fahd Stadium in the Saudi capital, and gave Al Hilal seven points and put it atop three-team Group B.
The loss eliminated Pakhtakor with three points and one match left, while idle Kuwait SC remained with one point and two matches remaining _ at home against Al Hilal and at Pakhtakor.
Pakhtakor dominated the second half after forward Yasser Al Qahtani and midfielders Tareq Al Taib and Omar Al-Ghamdi left the match injured for Al Hilal.
The Uzbeks' best chance in the 62nd when Anvarjon Soliev beat Al Hilal's offside trap to break in alone on keeper Mohammed Al Daeyea, who thwarted the finish.
